After weeks of voting, debating, and possibly a few friendly arguments in the group chat, the Semifinals of our GOAT Website Bracket Challenge have officially wrapped — and the results are as legendary as you’d expect.
Semifinal Recap
Google vs. Amazon
In a matchup of titans, the search engine behemoth proved it’s more than just a homepage — Google took down Amazon with clinical precision. While Amazon’s Prime power and one-click shopping had a strong showing, in the end, people couldn’t deny the cultural and functional dominance of Google. From “just Google it” to Maps, Gmail, and Docs, it’s the backbone of the web for many — and now it’s headed to the final.
YouTube vs. Instagram
This one was closer than expected. Instagram brought the aesthetic, the Stories, and the Reels. But YouTube? YouTube brought everything else. Tutorials, deep dives, music videos, creator culture, and viral classics — it’s where the internet lives. The voters made it loud and clear: YouTube is the platform that truly shaped the digital era.

And Now… the Final Showdown:
GOOGLE vs. YOUTUBE
The ultimate battle of utility vs. entertainment. The mind vs. the vibe. The homepage of the internet vs. the place we lose hours watching cooking hacks, history documentaries, and cat compilations.
They’re both owned by the same company — but only one can wear the crown. Who will you choose?
